Always remember the predator sees you even if you don't see him! However maned wolves aren't dangerous to humans as long as you don't step on their tail or annoy them in any other way.

Yeah it's not the classical good shot where's the animal stays out of the environment but honestly I like such shots much more because they look more naturally and the feeling such a photo creates. Cropped due to lack of focal length.

Comments and Critiques are much appreciated :)

Dieser Effekt, dass nur der Wolf scharf ist und nicht der Vordergrund wirkt toll. Da kommt dieses Predator-hafte zum Vorschein.

What a lovely natural shot you managed to capture!! I absolutely adore it! See, these are the kinds of shots that I like also because they give the true "feel" of the animals....out in nature, just being what they are! Not that there is anything at all wrong with zoo photography; oh no, I'm big into that as well, but just the feeling that you get when you look at this....well, it escapes me how exactly to put it into words. It's just a marvelous piece of work. Kudos to you for getting it!

Thank you so much :) That feeling is what I like too, it is why I wish to capture these animals in the wild rather than in captivity but I can't visit them in the wild :/ Anyways, I'm so glad you like it.

Nor can I but it would be really cool to see them in the wild, wouldn't it?

This really needs more views. I really like it. It defies what you generally expect from a photo, but the objects in front of him really add to the predatory look you're creating. You've also kept the eye free too, which is the only area I never want to see covered :XD:

Nice one!

Thank you very much :) I'm lucky that not both of his eyes were covered by the leaves because I couldn't see them through the viewfinder.
