This is one of the Southern Cassowary (Casuarius Casuarius) from the Aachener Tierpark.
The southern cassowary is threatened by the same things like many other animal species. One of the main problem is habitat loss as well as being killed by cars.


Btw who needs an image stabilizer when having 1/60s on 240mm with an aps-c (384mm equivalent)?

Vielen lieben dank :) Nunja ich würd sagen, das lag zum Teil an den leicht bewölkten Himmel den ich hatte, der nur weiches Licht durchkommen lies und ein bisschen Nachbearbeitung (das Horn war leicht überbelichtet).
