This is Porgy the male Jaguar (Panthera Onca) from the Krefelder Zoo. I know it's not that perfect but this is my very first jaguar shot and one of the few I could take with nice light! The sky was covered completely by clouds a few minutes later..
See the following website for information about jaguars. German: Jaguar English: coming soon.

This picture should be proudly be displayed as your back ground on you computer. The expression is amazing, just like how it is in nature. The blurred background enhances the focus on the main part of the picture, the cheetah. Natural lighting is VERY difficult to take pictures with. It is very well done here. Also, the contrast with the shade and sunlight is very well balanced. The pose is VERY realistic to that in nature, the prowling, getting ready to pounce.... It is simply amazing. I can not think of anything that is wrong with this picture. I love it.
